The Art of Stall mucking.....

We all know what that means! Every time you have your horse(s) stay in , you race over to grab your pitchfork and wheelbarrow, and since some of these night have been in the single digit temperatures then we all know that most of the horses will stay inside that warm, and toasty barn! Well being that the barn owner where we board our horses has twenty then that is a daily chore list for us! We muck, sweep you name it! I consider myself to be the super mucker of the horse world, some people would call me crazy but I just call myself talented in the art of stall mucking! But hey, who wants a dirty stall to be standing in for 24 hours strait! I know that I wouldn't!
That world famous manure pile that every barn has!!! People hate cleaning stalls but I am here to share the importance of a clean stall, clean mates, and always NO MANURE! When we bring in everybody and do their stalls like on a day like today- I always do a quick muck before we leave to rid their stalls of any unwanted horse manure laying around! Especially if it is in the direct path of where they step or eat their food. Quick Cleaning Tip: If your horse's stall has a single bucket that you throw in their stall for their feeding time, make sure to take it out before you leave to make sure they don't look at it as a second potty place! YUCK! Famous Quote that you will hear my say at my barn: "Okay, nobody make a bowel movement, I just cleaned out your stall." Will be common things that you hear at our barn and I'm sure many other places around the world that share this common thread!
